6 Week Silver Smithing Jewellery Class

Are you looking for a creative outlet that can also help you make stunning jewellery for yourself or your loved ones? Our 6-week jewellery-making workshop might be just what you need! Join us for an exciting journey and learn how to make exquisite pieces of jewellery from silver. With expert guidance, you'll start by making a simple silver ring in week one, followed by a beautiful silver necklace in week two, and a set of silver earrings in week three. Then, let your creativity run wild in the last three weeks, where you'll design and make your own unique piece of jewellery using the skills that you have learnt.

You will learn to cut and shape silver, anneal, texture, solder and polish silver.

 The workshops run every Thursday from 6.30-9 pm, giving you the perfect opportunity to unwind after a long day while learning a fun and rewarding skill. Don't miss this chance to discover your inner artist and impress everyone with your beautiful handmade jewellery!

Perfect for beginners 

The classes run for 6 consecutive weeks from the 23rd of May

Week 1 - 9th January  (Ring Making)

Week 2- 16th January (Necklace Making)

Week 3 - 23th January (Earring Making)

Week 4 - 30th January (Finish any designs from previous weeks and start designing and making your own piece)

Week 5 - 6th February (Working on your design and learning about other jewellery techniques)

Week 6 - 13th February (Finishing your own designs)

All silver is included to make, 1 Ring, 1 Necklace and 1 set of Earrings + up to £25 in silver to create your own design (this should be enough unless you decide to make something large, we will discuss this on week 3) You will be guided to help create a design. Still, if you don't have any ideas, I can give you a design to copy and make.

Please note that there is a metal outdoor staircase to climb to get into the workshop, so unsuitable for people with issues walking upstairs.

Please note that my dog Bramble will be with me in the workshop, if you have any issues with dogs please let me know and I will ask someone to take her for the day.
