Wye-Creative Craft Studio: Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for participation in workshops, classes, and events organized by Wye-Creative Craft Studio. By booking or attending a session, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Booking and Payment**
1.1 Booking Confirmation: All bookings must be made in advance, either through our website, by phone, or via email. Your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
1.2 Payment: Payment for workshops is required in full at the time of booking. We accept payments via BACs, Paypal, Cash
1.3 Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be redeemed against any workshop, subject to availability.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1 Customer Cancellations: If you need to cancel your booking, please inform us as soon as possible. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before the workshop date: A full refund will be provided or you may transfer to another workshop.
- Cancellations made within 13 days before the workshop date: There are no refunds within 2 weeks of the course starting, please contact me if you do have to cancel as there maybe people on the waiting list, in this case we may be able to offer you an alternative date
2.2 Studio Cancellations: In the unlikely event that Sarah needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, you will be offered a full refund or the option to attend an alternative date. We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred due to cancellations (e.g., travel or accommodation expenses).
3. Attendance and Punctuality
3.1 Attendance: Please arrive on time for your scheduled workshop. We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes before the start time to settle in, please do not turn up more than 15 minutes before the class begines. If you are late for the class, please drop me a text or email to let Sarah know.
3.2 Health and Safety: All participants are required to follow health and safety guidelines during the workshop. This includes the appropriate use of tools and materials as instructed by the workshop leader. Wye-Creative reserves the right to refuse participation if these guidelines are not followed.
4. Workshops and Materials
4.1 Materials Provided: All necessary tools and materials will be provided during the workshop unless otherwise stated. You are welcome to bring your own materials, but this must be discussed in advance with the instructor.
4.2 Workshop Content: The content of each workshop is subject to change depending on the group’s ability, preferences, and the availability of materials. We strive to tailor our classes to the individual needs of participants where possible.
4.3 Finished Products: You will take home any jewelry pieces you create during the workshop. However, Wye-Creative does not guarantee the structural longevity of your pieces after the class, especially if they are exposed to wear and tear.
5. Liability
5.1 Personal Responsibility: Wye-Creative is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property that occurs during the workshop. Participants are responsible for their own well-being during the session and should follow all safety instructions provided.
5.2 Tool Usage: Participants will be shown how to use tools and equipment safely. However, Wye-Creative cannot be held responsible for any injuries or damages caused by improper use of the tools during or after the workshop.
6. Photography and Intellectual Property
6.1 Photography: We may take photographs during workshops for promotional purposes. By attending, you agree to the use of your image in Wye-Creative marketing materials, including social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us at the start of the session.
6.2 Intellectual Property: All instructional materials, designs, and techniques taught during our workshops are the intellectual property of Wye-Creative Craft Studio. You may use the techniques learned for personal use, but they may not be copied or reproduced for commercial purposes without prior consent.
7. Data Protection
7.1 Personal Information: By booking a workshop, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of managing your booking. We will not share your data with third parties without your explicit consent. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
8.1 Wye-Creative reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most recent version will be posted on our website. Please ensure you are familiar with the current version before attending any workshops.
